Art of War: Anthology for Charity

Why do people buy anthologies? Well there are a few main reasons that I do. First for a sampling of new authors. Second if I like the theme of the anthology, for example Through the Eyes of the Undead was about zombies from their POV. Third to support a cause.

Using those reasons there has never been a better anthology around for you  (I already did) to pick up than The Art Of War put together by by Petros Triantafyllou. With 40 stories, even I found a few new authors. The Title should kind of hint at the theme but if not it’s about Ballroom Dancing. No, wait a second I was thinking of the GOBLIN Art of Dancing.

This book is about War sorry. And what better cause could the proceeds of a book about fictional wars and warriors go to then helping people that have been harmed by real wars. This is 100% for Charity with All proceeds going to MSF (Doctors Without Borders). Doctors Without Borders, is an international humanitarian non-governmental organization best known for its projects in war-torn regions and developing countries affected by endemic diseases. And in case you missed it there are 40 fricken stories here. That’s huge!

Want to know the best part? They are all good. No seriously. There were 2 that started a bit slow for me but I ended up liking every single fucking one of these stories and that is unheard of for me. So with 40 excellent stories I am not going to go in to each one. However I do want to acknowledge the best of the best and say that my favorites were Warborn, Violet, The Two Faces of War, The Undying Lands, and the Hero of Aral Pass.  And while some of the stories take place in an authors established world none of them require you to be familiar with that world to enjoy them.
