As usual lets get the technical stuff out of the way first. The Narration was great. Kafer has the perfect voice to do Gary’s dry humor. And he does an ok job with the other voices. The speed of the reading was fine. Unfortunately I have no complaints with the Audiobook. I say unfortunately because it makes it a damn sight harder to write the review….. The cover could be better I guess?
OK now lets get to the good stuff!. What can I say about this book. Hmmm It started up immediately where book one ended and in the first chapter we meet one of the best super Heroes I have ever heard of.
But the backwoodsman’s sunny demeanor hides a deep dark secret. I think it is a truth that all Canadians are guilty of hiding.
What you should be doing now instead of laughing at that is to question Why I have Kindle screen shots of an Audiobook review. Well it is because You’re traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That’s the signpost up ahead – your next stop, the Twilight Zone!
Or it could be that the book is free on Kindle unlimited, and I am a lazy guy. So I got it for the review And you should get it after you read this review, But I lean towards the Twilight Zone reason.
Other than the Backwoodsman nothing much happens in this book. What that’s not enough for you people? Geez fine then there is also a Greek Demigod that is super sexy. How’s that? ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?
This review has gotten stranger than most I think? What do you expect of me when trying to review a book that has Evil Sorcerers, Zombies, Ghosts, and a Giant Nazi Robot. One of these things is not like the others One of these things just doesn’t belong, Can you tell which thing is not like the others. By the time I finish my song? OK kids did you guess Giant Nazi Robot? No well then you’re an Idiot.
Sorry I am in a strange kind of mood. I get that way around 4 AM sometimes. So I loved the beginning of the book obviously. Then the middle was good. and a bunch of stuff happened. Then you know what happened next? The ending! and I I was all like No way bro. I really was , not that the ending came after the middle. no the ending itself was a total NOWAY Bro! kind of thing.
Final Thoughts
It was a great book with great Characters. Tons of Superheroes and Supervilians but this is not a kids super hero book. Lots of Humor and great narration made this Audiobook fly by in no time I give The Games of Supervillainy 4.5 out of 5 stars
The Backwoodsman! DEFENDER OF ALL THINGS FURRY AND COVERED IN MAPLE SYRUP!

This is kind of a stream of consciousness review and it’s hilarious.
