Hob’s Review of Paternus by Dyrk Ashton

Paternus  by Dyrk Ashton

My first thoughts after coming to the end of this book.

What that can’t be the end!!! I need to know what happens next. He better be writing a sequel or I am going to find him and pull a Annie Wilkes from Stephen King’s Misery.

I seriously love history, and Paternus takes every myth and legend of gods and god like creatures and seamlessly combines them into a completely original tale. Truly the way everything was mixed and intertwined makes a lot more sense than any actual religions. Dyrk better be careful or he might be the next L. Ron Hubbard. That is if I don’t end up breaking his legs to get him to write more.

I loved they plot and the characters were well written. My only complaint would be it was too short.

And for that reason it only gets 4.9 out of 5 stars from me. This is a great story and you really need to check it out
