What If?: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions
You have to admire a guy that quits his job at NASA to make a web comic of stick figures.
even more so that his little stick figures get around a million visits a DAY!!!
Here is my favorite quote of the book “There’s no material safety data sheet for astatine. If there were, it would just be the word “NO” scrawled over and over in charred blood.”
That came from a question ‘Can you make a table (like a dinner table) out of all the elements?’ he then goes over what would happen putting this one next to that one and so on . The answer is you die and take a good part of the world with you. It seems like that happened alot in the responses from these questions.
I listened to the Audio Book version of What If. and I loved the narration by Will Wheaten. Like back when I first listened to him narrate Ready Player One it was done really well with great inflection and clarity.
It is a short book around 7 hours but enjoyable I rate it a 4 out of 5
